The Green Bay Packers have always had a special bond with their fans and with the community. This bond dates back to 1919, when Curly Lambeau and George Calhoun brought together athletes and organized a sandlot football team. For over 50 years, Lambeau Field has been home to the team and is one of the most storied and hallowed stadiums in the United States. Ranked No.1 for the "fan experience," Lambeau now seats more than 72,000 fans after its renovation, completed in 2003.

Part of the dramatic facelift in 2003 included the addition of the Lambeau Field Atrium, making Lambeau Field a year-round tourist destination with a host of new amenities and attractions. The Atrium is home to the Packers Pro Shop, Packers Hall of Fame, Curly's Pub, and other dining, entertainment and retail options. Public tours of the stadium are available year-round, except on home game days.

Unique to any other NFL franchise is Packers Training Camp. Held in July and August, practices are open to the public. "Railbirds" arrive early to get a bleacher seat or place their lawn chairs next to the playing field. Young Packers fans line up anxiously waiting for players to choose a bike to ride to practice as the youngsters run along side carrying a helmet.
